Hrishant Goswami was at loss of words when she claimed that she loved him after he got evicted from the house this week. He found it very funny that she wanted to claim something like that as she is hugging, kissing, licking (?) Ashmit (pronounce – aaashmit) all the time. Goswami was very clear that he is not attracted to her in any other way other than being a “Good friend”.

 

Ashmit Patel and Sara Khan – Hot couple of Big Boss 4

I have earlier posted on Sara Khan-Ashmit Patel burgeoning relationship on Bigg Boss 4. Sara is sure becoming more popular than her boyfriend Ali Merchant. She needs to date someone at more popular/unpopular as her. Earlier, Sara had torn her beau Ali Merchant’s picture on the show.

Things heated on episode 17 of the show on October 21, as Ashmit kissed Sara, that too in front of everyone during a wrestling game on the show. He was excited and thus picked Sara – who was playing a cheer girl – to plant a kiss on her neck. Ashmit and Sara are becoming inseparable. They are always walking hand-in-hand.

Merchant believes (read – wants to believe) that romance between Ashmit-Sara is ‘stage-managed’. But Ashmit’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar countered, “Ashmit is just being himself on the show. Nothing about him is fake or stage-managed. Even if his emotions were to be manipulated by someone on the show, he wouldn’t know it.”

Debut Film : Inteha

Ashmit Patel started as an assistant director. He assisted director Vikram Bhatt in movies like Aap Mujhe Acche Lagne Lage, Awara Paagal Deewana, Raaz, and Foothpath.

He made his acting debut in 2003 with Mahesh Bhatt’s Inteha opposite Nauheed Cyrusi. Ashmit played a negative role in this movie. He was then seen as Mallika Sherawat’s husband in Murder (2004). This movie created good records at the box office.

Some of his other movies were Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana (2007), Banaras: A Mystic Love Story (2006), Silsiilay (2005), and Nazar (2005). The actor has not been a part of any blockbusters so far. His latest release was Toss (2009) where he played a character named Josh. This Ramesh Khatkar film is VJ Rannvijay Singh’s debut film.

Ashmit was in a controversy regarding an MMS clip with his ex-girlfriend, actress Riya Sen .
